Just to name a few of my go to eating spots: for a quiet breakfast or lunch I enjoy Open Door Cafe, to escape to an Irish Pub for a good hamburger and draft I recommend Sean Bolan's, and if you want to take the kids for ice cream on a dairy farm, Blooms Broom is the place.

Join and support our local Haford County Special Olympics
program on March 30, 2014. Meet at Bel Air High School at 8:00 am when
the opening ceremonies and the 5K race begin. Walkers will follow after
the runners and on a shortened 1 mile course. You can register on line or register at Bel Air High School at 7:00 am. Registration is $25. Proceeds will go to the 14 sports and leadership programs in Harford County.
Water will be available at the halfway point of the 5k course and course
marshals will direct racers at major turn points. Post-race
refreshments will also be available. All registered runners and walkers
will get a gift.

Finally,
the eye sore on the corner of Tollgate Rd and Rt 1 in Bel Air is under
construction. I cannot tell you how many times I have looked at the run
down old Shell Station spot and thought I hope a Dunkin Donut goes in.
Like many in Harford County who travel on Rt 1 routinely, I have hoping
that the prime real estate lot would blossom into something we call all
appreciate.
I just read in the Baltimore Sun
that the corner is finally turning into something that will supposedly
work well next to Silver Spring Mining Company. The article does not
disclose who the tenants will be. Apparantly that is under wraps for
now! If anyone knows what is going there, I'm sure we would all love to
know!

3. USDA - This is 100% Rural Loan. If you are considering areas that are rural, this is the loan for you! Homes for sale in parts of areas such as Whiteford and surround areas can quailify.
4. Conventional is 5% down. There is a program that allows the 5% to be a gift! Also, there is a 95% Conventional Financing with No Monthly Mortgage Insurance Premium. You can buy it upfront and increase your buying power!
5. Finally, rates are starting to rise. When the rates rise the affordability lowers.
